Believe it or not, people here clamored for the Twins to call up Fedko

Yup, I kinda called it in that thread, this happens every year with a marginal OF hitting well in AAA. I was on board since Outman was so bad, it's a classic "he can't hit worse than Outman" and then he actually does hit worse than him. But I'm glad they found out and gave the kid a chance. It's not as if Outman is any different in Detroit except he's managed to hit a handful of HRs.

My question is, next time Sabato hits 4 for 5 in a game, does the comments section get filled with people calling the Twins to call him up?

Royce needs to resume lighting up the scoreboard or, um, yes.

I get the frustration but I'm so over this talking point. What if we don't pick up Kody and Kreidler though? What if Lou was still pitching for the Twins but got hit by a liner on his pitching hand while pitching for the Twins? So on and so forth. Sh*t happens. Let's move forward. The bullpen is holding its own right now.

And, hey everyone - this team as constructed has the chance to be in first place by the All-Star break!

Here hoping Louis keeps doing great, Roden can provide a spark, we keep winning and (;seriously) Fedko can get on the board.  It’s fun to tease the guy, but hard not to root for him at this point.  Nice win!

I don't remember where I picked it up.  I think it was on the pregame when they were discussing Jeffers and Cole Sands making his first rehab appearance for St Paul.  Jeffers was only planning on going 7 innings tonight and Thursday for St. Paul.

By design. Building him back up to be game ready.

Love the win. Not complaining, but man we left way too many on base. Lot of meat left on the bone.

The Rook accounted for half of those by himself.

As a change of pace I don't mind having four ex-player analysts in the booth. They have a lot of insight that we fans don't have from their experience. Three games will be a great plenty I think, but I enjoyed a lot of the banter. It's like playing golf with my buddies--even if I shoot 100 I have a good time.

As far as the game, I don't think I've ever seen so many balls hit gloves and not turned into outs by Cleveland. Combined with only getting one run and three hits, I'm sure Guard fans are inventing new ways to pummel the team.

Bradley was great again on the new backend of the bullpen did the job. This is the kind of game Cleveland has managed to steal from the Twins this decade. Win one of the next two and it's a successful series, win 'em both and we're tied and maybe only one or two games out of first place.

Yes.

Of course I laugh, because the simple ‘yes’ is so true….and have zero idea where I’d play him…..but since we all love baseball, it’s hard not to root for these guys dream to come true.  And in fairness to those who wanted Fedko, it’s not like we were lighting the world on fire a month ago.  But now… I don’t see too many ‘tryouts’ happening on the big club.  Just give it 3-4 weeks :)

.enjoyed it last year...but way too much chatter this year...4 in a booth.

I think if I was younger and called my friends "Dude" I'd have enjoyed the announcer free-for-all much more, but I am what I am. Nice win, by the way--a three-hitter.

💯 on all of this:

Didn’t mind the banter and even some insights, they just need to call the plays.  Brooks Lee made a nice play on a liner early in the game that they didn’t even mention.

Wallner has Cement Bones, Cleveland packed Cement Gloves for this game.

Taj with at least 23 swings and misses. (!) He was filthy.

Tonight we get to see what Roden can do.

8-1 BoSox leading ChiSox in the 9th.  Scoreboard watching in July?  Whodathunk?

Weird. It was only 4-1 last i checked.

I must admit, you are better than i.

In the analyst booth bonanza, three is company, four is a crowd

I'm fine with the occasional novelty broadcast.  It's a long season and watching on mute if you have to for a bit isn't the end of the world.  But if they are keeping this up for the rest of the series, then they should make Morneau and Denard take turns or something.  They certainly don't need both of them - in fact, you could argue that you don't really need either of them as they try to one-up each other in putting us to sleep.  It was like a podcast with an extra guest where the rhythm is off and they can't help talking over each other

You guys had it easy.

Mobile devices being what they are, listening in the car to the radio broadcast then switching over to watching as i got out and left the bluetooth connection, when i got back in and watched a bit, the reestablished bluetooth picked up the radio broadcast where i left off and overlayed it on the tv broadcast audio, so i got a couple of extra announcers out of sync by maybe 15 minutes... Eventually i restarted the app...
