I think more teams should have a, "Well, This Is Awkward" Giveaway Day in September. They give away merch for players who got traded/DFA'd during the season

I am surprised by the timing of the Outman move but totally thrilled by it.  But it does call into question this front office.  On a day you know Buxton will be down at least for a day if not longer you decide to release your supposed back up center fielder.  Why was he even on the roster the last two months, the timing of this move shows he could have been released at any time including before the season began.  The front office really is aimless.

They had to have gotten an optimistic outlook on Buck or they would not do this now,. Unless another move is coming. If Kriedler - Keaschall gets sent to the outfield to cover Buck then an IF spot becomes available. All I can figure.

I think they are comfortable with Clemens out there in CF.  But still Outman could have been gone at any time.

I like Clemens at 1B or 2B to stabilize the shoddiness around him. We shall see.

Royce played 10 games at 3B, 2 games at 1B, and 1 game at 2B at AAA... and now he's up in the majors playing 2B. This organization never seems to have any idea how to prepare players defensively. Just like how they should have known Lee had no business playing SS.

Royce and Matt each got benched for a few days after struggling, then got demoted.

Keaschall has been on the struggle bus, let’s see if the day off gets him a mini-reset or if he gets demoted too

I think giving Lee last Aug/Sept to show what he had at SS was good. Unfortunately what he showed was enough for me to know that he wasn’t a SS…. Yet there he played for 1/3 of 2026.
