The Twins may be one of the busiest teams in baseball over the next 48 hours. According to Jim Bowden of The Athletic, multiple contenders are aggressively pursuing Minnesota as a trade partner. The Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays, Phillies, and Mariners have all been in regular contact with the front office, showing serious interest in a wide range of players.

Among the most talked-about names are Joe Ryan, several key bullpen arms, Willi Castro, and Harrison Bader. That level of widespread demand suggests the Twins could be busy over the next few days. With such a deep list of in-demand assets, Minnesota is suddenly positioned as a potential centerpiece of this year’s trade deadline.

Whether the front office chooses to fully lean into selling or sticks to it's impending free agents remains to be seen. Either way, the next move could shift the tone of the season.

Where do you stand on it? Drop your thoughts below.

No way in hell to Ryan.....................Jax/Duran - I say deal Jax, but not both.   Coloumbe can go as he is year to year.    Ride this out with Castro/Bader - unless you can get May from the Dodgers for Bader.   I would then prefer to add pieces in the offseason as ERod would be the bait, along with Brooks Lee and Wallner.

As long as the value is appropriate, I don't see why any of those players would be untouchable. I just don't think any team is going to give up what it would take to get Ryan. The price will deservedly be too high.

The saddest part is I think you could make the argument the Twins would be best served trading all of them accept Ryan just to get off Correa's contract. Then use that money to extend Ryan.

Well, except for it doesn't work that way.

Teams like the Twins need to be very prudent when signing long term contracts.

If teams are so interested in our players why do we suck at baseball? No way I’d trade guys with control, you may extend the good ones or trade them for more next year.

Because most of them are pitchers....and the hitters aren't all that good. The few hitters they have that others want are good, not great, players with a couple months left on their deals. At positions where other teams have injuries or bad players. I mean, if I had a car with no engine, but three tires, I might be able to sell the tires.....

Extend them with what money?

Ryan, Jax, and Duran are free agents in 2028 so the extension money would start then, and only Correa + Buxton are under contract then, and it's both their final year. They can absolutely afford to extend a couple pitchers.

Trade our expiring contracts. If we can obtain Teel or E Quero in a delayed, 3-way trade or J Quero in a straight trade with MIL. Then I'd be open for trading Duran or Jax. If not, then I'd keep Duran & Jax & target Salazar & Feducci. Falvey loves to be the MLB darling, so he'll trade Duran or Jax for whatever looks the best on paper & soak in the limelight.

If it appears that Falvey isn't going anywhere. Then why waste our time & money? This offseason, trade Correa, trade everybody & go through a long baseball purgatory.

Joe Ryan is as close to someone who should not be traded as you can get with the Twins.  That said, if a team really wants Ryan, they have to take Correa too.  I'm not a Correa hater; however, his contract is a burden on the team being able to either retool or clean house.

Any or all trades should include a top catcher coming back to Twins. So in turn Seattle would be the team I hope the Twinks deal with. Raleigh will be there catcher fir years to come so Ford is out of luck there and by far the best all around catcher big league ready in the minors.

Falvey is mainly responsible for putting this group together.  This will now be four of the past 5 years we will miss the playoffs.  Listening to him telling us over the years how good these players are only to have him spew out the same ex uses as to why they are not winning is getting so old.  Ive been very critical of Falvey and Baldelli.  I still am.  It's not because I'm a Twins hater.  Quite the contrary.  Ive been a huge follower of the Twins since the mid 1960s.  I just see no development or progress being made.  Same old thing year after year.  We as fans are suppose to accept mediocrity i guess.  I don't accept it.  When new ownership finally takes over they must dump falvey and baldelli as a starting point.  This team needs an influx of positivity and a new direction very badly.

I'm open to deals if they are good trades.  You have to give up something to get something.  I just hope the Twins realize they need to retool.  This current group is not gonna miraculously become a pennant winner without some major additions and subtractions.  I'd be looking to unload Correa if he's willing to waive his no trade clause though i doubt it happens.  He's not played well enough this season for long enough to generate the hype and his contract is monstrous.

When there is new ownership there needs to be two announcements within two days of signing the agreement.

1) Fire Falvey.   No "reassigned to new duties" or any other stuff. "You're fired, pack your shi... and be out in 60 minutes or you will be escorted off the property and law enforcement will be called."

2) Fire Baldelli- see notes of Falvey firing..

Otherwise just keep the Pohlads,  cus ain't nothing going to change without a gale of fresh wind to blow the detritus out of Target field, we are in for more of the same poorly mediocre baseball for the foreseeable future.

Falvey is completely responsible.  The concern I have is you have now had 2 years where you underperformed their potential.  Injuries ect.   As a whole the organization is in a much better standing than when he took over top to bottom. This post really doesn't belong here,  as its a trade deadline thread,  not a Falvey bashing thread.  I am fine with whatever happens in regards to Jax, Duran and Ryan.  All 3 can be cornerstones for next 2 years,  or someone could overpay.   There are more teams than just the Twins trying to win in the division.  But I do want to see a competitive team be put together for next year.  If you are going to tear it down,  use the pieces to build it back together.

If they Twins start selling off, which i kinda doubt, but if they do.  I fully expect that Correa will get fed up and demand a trade in the offseason.  The Twins sold him a bill of goods that they were gonna continue to build around him and they haven't done that.  Correa wants to play for a world series contender not a AAAA farm team.  He's the kinda of player with the competitive spirit that he would waive his no trade clause to go to the right team.  Unfortunately, his contract is ridiculous for his production levels outside of a handful of teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, etc.
