He should be the centerpiece of a trade for a solid 1B or C if they mistakenly let Jeffers out of the building.

An overpay for Jeffers needs to happen. Lackey is a year or two away. Tait isn't the prospect we thought, and should move to 1B. Diaw is ????????

I would like to see one of France/Arraez. Then trade ERod as the headliner of a package for arms. Sign Jeffers and bring back Larnach

I don't like giving away an asset of any value. I would like him brought back to provider more depth. We have Buxton, ERod and Jenkins who all have injury history and two are unproven at this time. I would like Erod used in a trade to balance the roster.

I would like to see the Twins package him with Lewis for a legit middle of the lineup 1B

The Jeffers decision will be the one that needs to happen first, and will be what other decisions are made. Sign him to a 3 year deal and you are off to a good start in the offseason.

a promotion that leads to a DFA in the offseason
  8. mickster
Wallner is done in MN. I would love to see Larnach back over Martin even if he is LH

If Jeffers leaves, Jackson will be back. I expect Larnach and Bell back. Lewis to be used in a trade with either Gabby or ERod. Banda and Minter I would like to see as well. Festa is an unknown.

would be great to bring back Jefferson on a 3 year deal to bridge the gap, Tait can be traded, but don't sell low at this point.

I would like to see Lewis dealt along with Erod for a solid 1B bat. I think they need to bring back Larnach as we have a lot of promise without proof in the young OF. You can't have enough pitching so Ober needs to be back. I prefer Kremer over him, but arms are needed.

Will most likely need to sweep Cleveland this weekend or the bubble will burst.
  13. mickster
This is absolutely the most important move and should be a priority once the season ends
  14. mickster
100% will not sign unless he plays 2B. That was his condition last year, and will be again this offseason.
  15. mickster
Erod and Tait should be used to fortify the roster in trades. Jeffers on a three year deal would be a win.
  16. mickster
    tender both
  17. mickster
Tait will be moved to 1B is what I think will happen
  18. mickster
I don't think they want to expose him to MLB pitching in a stretch run and hurt his trade value this offseason as I think they will part with him.
  19. mickster
I would like him in long relief, spot starting
  20. mickster
Houston wont' be ready. Erod/Gonzalez both won't be there. i would prefer Josh Bell comes back. I would also prefer Larnach over Martin - even with the lean to the LH
  21. mickster
I am thinking he will be in LF
  22. mickster
    sept 1
  23. mickster
True - but not sure the Twins will use the 60 on him.
  24. mickster
If Jenkins is called up, who is gone from the 40 man? Fedko
  25. mickster
That is a true clarification. I should have stated wearing a Twins uniform :)
