    I am not sure Vazquez if out of the picture as of yet. He has disappointed with the bat, but defensively and handling a pitching staff has been good. He won't command a lot on the open market and I would not mind a two year contract extension for him.

    An arm - and we need them in AAA. I would like them to add Michael Fullmer who was just let go by the Cubs. He is a better option then Wentz, and I don't care of the LH/RH issue. I would also like to see them sign Candelerio and let Bride go. He can play 1B/3B and is a better offensive option.

    Trading Willi makes some sense as he is a FA and will test the market. Maybe he would sign back? This is all on hoping Keaschall can be the player we briefly seen. I want Vazquez back. Paddack and France won't bring much so that is trading just to trade. I would like to see them dangle Lee, and if ever healthy - Royce Lewis. I am not a fan of Festa at all - I don't think he will ever be more than a back end of the rotation guy so include him. I would also be looking at dumping Erod if teams want a prospect.

    I agree the need to develop a couple of catchers in the minors is desperately needed, but I am also on board with re-signing Vazquez as his market value will be considerably lower then current contract.

    Erod will need to be in the deal. Erod and Raya might get something done.

    They hold them too long instead of flipping them for proven talent................then wait until they are 25+ to hit the big leagues.

    Best thing Festa can do for us today is to eat innings and wear this one.

    We might see a waiver wire pickup to add some veteran depth if anyone becomes available. Ryan/Ober/Paddack need to carry the load and push as deep as they can every night.

    Not a good idea. A strong bullpen is key in the league today. Royals won a WS with a shutdown pen years ago............starters don't go over 6 today so keeping this group in-tact is crucial.

    And what would you be willing to give up for a rental like him?

    agreed, not alone - the price is high for him. Lewis or Lee would be the major league talent sent, but the sure volume of prospects on this one isn't a price to pay right now.

    Miranda is a lost cause in my opinion. I would love Duran, but what are you going to give up to get him? I wouldn't give up any young arm, so then you are looking at a young position player............if they would take Lee or Lewis for him I think it is an upgrade.

    Maybe we targe another SP? Keep the depth at St. Paul. Not sure who we can offer though as Miranda, Julien and Martin would be throw ins.
