I'm not sure what games you are watching but Vazquez does bring value to the games as a smart solid catcher  , if your picking on hitters pick on them all , can't get anyone one base before a homerun , can't get any clutch hits when we get someone on base ... 

The entire lineup is a train wreck  , some on defense and offense  , some just on offense ...

I was responding to a post that said Vazquez brought value. I didn't think I should rip every player in that post, but, ya, I've called for the Fo to be fired because the lineup isn't good. But typing that every post seems rude.

Freaking hilarious how everyone just wants to hand the closer spot to Varland.....I guarantee his stats in high leverage situations is crap (and don't tell me the 7th inning is high leverage).

I can't remember the last time we used a reliever in three straight games... can't blame him if he has a bad outing. The dude has been phenomenal this year.

This one was. And Varland on day 3 in a row is a big mistake. Duran on day 3 in a row would be a big mistake, too. This game should have /could have been shortened to 2 bullpen innings, regardless of the relief.

We are not going to the postseason this season, the starts need to go to the young guys,  And Paddack isn't getting us there either.

Paddock to me should of got the 7th,  and it would of made a whole different situation if he gets thru it , - alot ezzier  covering 2 innings than 3 or more every game  ,  its almost like there scared to get in the box-- hit the friggin ball

Varland has given up 1 run in 10.2 innings when throwing in the 8th inning and and 1 run in 2.1 innings in the 9th. Nothing we've seen from him suggests he couldn't do it.

It is what it is , you can rip on management  24 / 7 - 365 days a year  , yes Vazquez is getting older but he will get another job next year , so others do think he has value  ...

Jeffers just had a passed ball probably called a wild pitch today , Vazquez would have smothered it ...
