It was a hanging breaking ball, he pretty much put it on a tee for him.  He could at least me make him work for it.

He came back and struck out Ohtani in the next PA. I don’t think anyone is saying any more than that, under the circumstances, it was a horrendous pitch, intended or not, in an otherwise very good start.

Home plate ump is just an idiot. It’s almost like he’s guessing. He’s probably missed 20 pitches today.. That probably includes the margin they give them on their grading system too.

Amazing how many right down the middle pitches this team takes.

Some would call those pitches "mistakes".

Twins call them called strikes.
