If they hit like last night it will be okay , but if it's anything like 3 hits or less i wouldn't be surprised ... Any odds on buxton hitting a lead off homer ... I'll try and be here through the game but I'm pretty tired already from lack of sleep ... glunn and Patzky 2
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Is Sim the second-best starter right now? Rocco has protected him, but the scores of the games he has pitched have dictated early hooks. His stuff seems pretty average across the board, but if he hits his spots, it plays in MLB. I'd say outcome wise, yes, though I still think Festa has better stuff. But SWR is a number 4 / 5 pitcher and those have value. glunn 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Interesting lineup. Seven RH batters vs. a RH starter. Larnach, Lee and Clemens all sitting. glunn 1

I know we played at Arizona last year so probably we get them at home in 2025. glunn 1

An aggressive Dodgers approach might mean a longer stint if Sim can be effective.. three or four pitch at bats vs those killer twelve pitch versions. Guess the Dodgers closer dept will be hurting due to injury and usage last night. glunn 1

That is correct , angels on the road or in the outfield in September , San Diego pray the beat us in august and Arizona stings us at home September ... Patzky 1

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 23, 2025 Posted July 23, 2025 Took Mrs Chief to a horse racing track this afternoon. Thought it'd be fun. I picked this horse to win right at post time, she went off at 10 to 1. Nag finally finished at quarter to 3. knothole61 and Randy Griffith 2
