They’ve been playing Lee every day in July and he’s been terrible. I have zero issue with Rocco playing the vets against the best baseball player in the world.

Still better than France. And mostly than Lewis. The impatience with young players doesn't help them. That said, Lee has been a huge disappointment to me.

He's better than Kiersey? And I'm not going to look at minor league numbers, we know what he is for the most part.

Not going to look at minor league numbers? Should we call up Jose Miranda instead then? You can aim your crosshairs at other players on this team you know… You’ve been hyper focused on France

Way to go Buck!

That said, the absolute ease with which opposing pitchers can retire Twins hitters without throwing strikes is one of the fundamental weaknesses of this offense.

Sure. Lord of guys need to go, but France is an expiring deal, and is not good at all. And that was aimed at Kiersey. I have more patience for guys that might be part of the future. France isn't. Nor is Kiersey. They aren't replacing Jeffers, Lewis, CC, Buxton, Larnach. Or Castro. Or Bader. And can't replace Vazquez, alas. Or Clemens for now. That leaves Wallner, Lee, and France and Kiersey.

First batter walk, in the past, bad sign.

A VERY bad sign today.

Tonight you have a valid point, but yesterday it was basically France in for him.  At some point they have to let these younger players work thru their struggles or else move on.  If they had quality players that were part of the long term plan playing instead it would not be an issue.  But they keep running out these one year stopgap veterans with little upside.

It’s July 21st. There’s plenty of innings to fill with prospects and waiver wire fill ins. Until this FO is gone they’re gonna try to win one game at a time.

Nice ... Let's flex the strike zone to the superstar.

MLB probably feeds him harder baseballs like they did for the Yankees on Sunday Night games a few years ago.

That lead didn't last long, as usual.

Might be awhile before we have another lead, sadly.

No doubter from the best baseball player in the world. That’s gonna happen when you’re a fringe MLB player

Gotta admit he is as close to Babe Ruth as any of us have seen.

Tuned in just in time for the O-blast.  Leadoff walk haunts again.

Cripe, you could see that coming a mile away, and the plate umpire didn't help.  Looks like we're gonna get Yankee-level umpiring here, too.

I'm old and retired.  Sell.

That's the opposite of buy, which is a homophone of bye which is the opposite of what i was going to say: hi!

Ps. i'm young and have not yet begun to work, Kinda like John Paul Jones but less violent.

you pitch behind in the count thats what your gonna get

He walks Betts, then gets squeezed by the umpire...sometimes mlb is just hard to watch.

A strike gets called on Clemens that's clearly below the knees...Festa threw a beautiful pitch...ball 2.

Gonna take a wild guess that the Dodgers are on Correa’s NTC list

Dodger crowds are vicious...recall when a couple of them killed a SF fan in the parking lot

None of what happened is the home plate umpires fault.

None. Zip. Zilch

That was a rare event.  I've been to Dodger stadium dozens of times,.I feel safer there than downtown Minneapolis, at least night games.

They have absolutely no impact on the outcome of any game in the history of MLB...yep...gonna have a hard time defending that.

If you really believe that, you’re not watching the same game as the rest of us. The numbers, the pitchers, the coaches, they all say it matters. But hey, don’t let reality get in the way of your opinion.
