Should be an interesting broadcast tonight. In the booth it’s Morneau, Perkins, Plouffe, and special guest Pablo Lopez

Two excellent analysts, one lovable pedant, and a very bright current player…who will handle the play-by-play?

Honestly it would be interesting if none of them did. And they just shoot the **** pointing out relevant stuff on the field from their playing experience.

That Cubs lineup sure looks formidable.

They are.. it's been what's carrying them. Good practice for the Yankees and Dodgers series upcoming.

Quite a turnaround for that franchise.  They've been mediocre to outright bad the past half decade.  We can only hope to see sudden improvement like that down the road.

Each one will get play by play for 1 game - playing Cory,s spot and then Perkins and Plouffe get to pick on Morneau , looking forward to it

ARH - The Twins had better win at least 1 game against each and actually 2 against the Yankees.

ALC records vs NLC…

Detroit 8-7

KC 6-7

TC 3-9

CLE 6-12

CHI WS 3-9

Meanwhile no division has more than 2 teams with negative run-differential…except the ALC, which has 4. Twins are 11-14 in the division.

One of them will have to take the lead. My guess is that it will be Perkins. He is the best announcer of the bunch in my view. Lopez is good enough to be a future broadcaster, since he is articulate.

Might as well get down to business guys. Who knew that series against the Cubs and Pirates would dictate the team's plans for the remainder of 2025. I figure anything less than 4-2 and we are sellers.

Morneau will most certainly be picked on due to the jargon that he uses.

Sellers equate to the failed promise of "sustained competability" that was promised to Correa before he signed the last contract.

I think they sit pat and do nothing except massage the egos of the current players.

Only one of them has a man cave with an MVP trophy.

It would seem that they is an applied promise by Correa to perform as the highest paid player on the team. My gut feeling is that NY and SF had a good analysis of his future. I guess that he has a right to receive what the Twins offered him. You may see him playing 3rd next year. It would be great if he could play 1st. Think about the rotating players that have been in that position the last several years. There have been so many.....

He looks a bit like a Canuck Cave man.
