It's time for speaking up again ,  the manager has to go along with others ...

Professionals my arse

Only way to salvage the season. You’re correct! Add new hitting coach to the mix as well.

I’ve been in the “blow it up camp”, including firing the Manager, for a while. The onfield product just keeps making the case. I mean, what could make you optimistic about this current roster, and their “leader”?

I don't see any leader?  Who is their leader.  Buxton?  Hilarious.

Yeah. I've never called for Rocco's head - but honestly his lack of enthusiasm can be such a killer.

He'd be a great manager for the Yankees or Dodgers. Just even keel, let the players do their thing, etc.

But he's not a good manager for a struggling team.

I've been consistent that I don't believe that Rocco can lead a younger team (Twins are the 8th youngest in MLB).  His most successful was 2019 when it was mainly veterans playing.  His attitude of just letting the players do what is comfortable to them doesn't always work out.

The usage of Keirsey Jr. as a replacement for Wallner instead of Castro tells us quite a bit about how Falvey and Baldelli view Big Matt's glove. I kind of feel bad for Willi because he has been hitting and battling at the plate but he struggles in the outfield. Deep fly ball out gets dropped and the official scorer will rule it a hit because of course.

Falvey's boys are playing about as good as they can right now but finding themselves in spots where the organizational dim view of fielding, base running, and small ball hurts them. Team is still above .500 with a long season ahead of them.

Woods Richardson may have embarrassed those folks who believe he should be in AAA  with the way he pitched to the AL West leader team.

Respectfully, I’m having trouble finding very many players who are playing as well as they can 😂

Fellas, we scored 6 runs this series and struck out 37 times. Rocco may need to go but wtf was he supposed to do this series lol

You're absolutely right as it's not Rocco's fault that they only score 6 runs in one of the most hitter friendly ballparks in MLB.  I do start to wonder if the team has tuned him out and just collecting paychecks, specifically Correa and Buxton, who are supposed to be leading this team.

Twins Xtra inning record since 2020.

Ghost runner rule.

Wins: 37

Losses: 42

Win %: .468

I came up with different numbers, I struggle with math

That (effort), it is important to say, is always hard to identify but it is possible that one could hold the talent level above its actual position in reality.

One way people see a lack of effort is in how a player runs out routine fly balls or grounders directly to a fielder, especially one hoppers back to the mound. For some reason this seems to be a team philosophy. There are teams that run out everything and others that rarely make that effort, perhaps to avoid injuries. I have no idea why some teams play all out but I can guess.

He struggled in the 2nd half last year. He struggled to start this season and he was getting blown up recently. Idk why anybody should be "embarrassed," for wanting SWR in AAA.

I'd say my numbers are unconfirmed as well.

I used AI...asking for confirmation...but still could be off.

Dan Ford and Willie Norwood.

OMG ... Disco Dan back peddling to the plate, falling and getting tagged out is one of the most spectacular highlights/lowlights of Twins history. Willie "Mays" Norwood - what a talent. Willie and baseball could not get on the same page.

Great names to bring up. Best comment of the day.

So call up Randy Dodnak and sign the savior DeSclafani.

Can't blame Castro for not making the catch.

Game was lost by going 0-8 RISP

Houston goes 2-9 RISP

Most outfielders make that play. The ball was way up in the air. Castro is a super valuable utility player who is best used in the infield.

However, you are correct that the Twins do nothing to attempt to score except swing hard. Maybe a bunt would work 5 times a year. WTH, try it once a month.

It might make some sense to wonder about the talent level on our favorite team too.

That 2019 juiced ball year was the worst thing that ever happened to this franchise.

They've been closing their eyes and swinging as hard as they can ever since, it's now part of the team philosophy. It will set the team back a decade before it's all said and done.

He was optioned for Matthews with Festa still waiting for a call up but sure, Dobnak, that's what everybody wanted...
