I usually don’t let single games get to me too much but this has been the most frustrating week of the season for me this year.

You're placing the loss on the manager? He didn't make two misplays that lead to the runners. He didn't hang a splitter.

He plays defense very stiff, mechanically, like Rocco manages, no feel for the game.

Yep, It would be nice if Correa, Buxton, and Lee could replace Jullian, Farmer, and Margo for a possible playoff run.   It's probably the only way they can compete against good teams.

They continue to lose games around the margins. As for why or because of whom, it is what it is. But this team isn't winning the division.

Ohhh, this bullpen. I have never looked at the expenditures when it comes to fielding players to pitchers for the Twinks. But I bet it’s quite egregious with position because of Correa. Can anyone deny the fact of having really good quality pitching, more so than position players? I just wonder how this team would look with Lewis playing SS (when healthy , not lol) and a slew of very good quality arms in the pen because we had the money to spend.

Lee had 3 hits today at StP.  Get him across town and jettison Julien to Mille Lacs.

Its time to put the young lefties that can hit in against the LHP and see whats what.  Start Larnach, Wallner, Julien against LHP.

No division title.  Fighting for WC spot.  Baldelli managerial decisions not helping there.

Fair, but Duran didn’t choose to go in up 5. Fresh Duran is very different than fatigued Duran

I don't have high hopes for the Atlanta series, even though the Braves are having, at least for them is, a down season.

The scheduled Atlanta starters will likely cut through this lineup like a hot knife through butter, with little trouble or effort.

Good managers put their team in position to win games.

Using Duran in a meaningless game last night so that he's potentially fatigued today...

Pinch hitting for Wallner with a guy that isn't hitting over .200...

Could Julien have made the play in the 9th? Of course.

But that doesn't excuse questionable decisions from the dugout. And when you add up those decisions over the course of 162, you get a team that falls short of a division and anything beyond that in October.
