I looked away for a moment when we were up 5-4, now 11-4?! Of course it was an error, god forbid this team have a clutch hit.

Detroit put a position player in at pitcher with only a 4 run lead? Really? Don't think I've ever seen that. I get that this is a double-header but come on.

The way things have been going for the Twins, Wallners may be the winning runs.

Perkins- “offensive explosion!”

give me a break. You’re joking right? Twins fired Bremer for more of Perkins?

Well it was Offensive to watch !

Isn’t Bowman also available to pitch?

Yup, the list I saw did not have him because he’s new. Alright we’re set I guess lol

Yes. It made me laugh. Only hit was a Wallner homer off a non-pitcher, who Buxton. could only softly ground out against, Farmer and Santana watched called 3rd strikes with the bases loaded and 3-2 counts, and Jeffers error should have been the 3rd out. Calling it an Offensive Explosion is comical. Bring in Brockmire!

Riding Jeffers in the two hole against a righty! Might as well.

If I’m in the clubhouse I’m making sure Jeffers doesn’t shower or change uniforms. Not even his socks.

I would be beyond shocked if anyone who pitched in game 1 pitches again today.

Obviously the ideal is six innings from SWR, followed by two from Sands and one from Bowman in a blowout, but I could see going to Jax (11 pitches in game 1) and Okert (13), and perhaps even Stewart (19). It helps that none of those three pitched either Friday or Thursday. They may also be more likely to go to one of those mid-inning than they usually are.

The real sticking point could be tomorrow’s game, particularly if Ober struggles. I’m not sure who, but I’m guessing that Gardenhire has a couple guys that he’s under strict orders not to use tonight for the possibility of a roster move tomorrow.
