Azviking101 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Buxton looks lost out there amazing how many twins writers predicted an MVP for him this season his ABs are entirely guesswork
Twinsoholic Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Buxton’s at bats this season often look like those of Delman Young. With 2 strikes it is almost inevitable that he will chase a pitch way out of thd strike zone.

I like my odds of getting a force better. That's my thought.

The majority of grounders that lead to a force are also going to be regular groundouts. There’s a smidge of an advantage to having the force, but I don’t think it comes close to the handedness and Manfred Man advantage that pitching to Torkelson provided.
Azviking101 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Martins ABs are just so strong. Look exactly the way Wallner, Julien and Lewis looked last year Its so obvious the the major league approach has messed with everyone Squirrel and RocRedWing 1 1
Azviking101 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 And then Farmer has an AB like that. It’s so obvious that Popkins and co have completely ruined these hitters. Squirrel, Schmoeman5 and RpR 2 1
Danchat Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Martin should never be below Castro and Vazquez in a lineup ever again... and probably Santana but we are multiple months away from the team realizing their mistake with him. mrtwinsfan 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Santana is ba-rutal Danchat and Mike Sixel 2

Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Farmer and Santana. Brutal. Swinging at balls out of the SZ and taking called strikes. Farmer should have been looking to poke the ball to the right side. 2nd baseman playing him up the middle. I guess that's not an option. Bases loaded, no outs futility again. But the Detroit White Sox helped them out again mrtwinsfan 1
Dave Borton Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Amazing. Putting the ball in play after what, a dozen pitches. Shazam. Tlaker and mrtwinsfan 2
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I’m sure things are festive on Tigers Daily, with 17 strikeouts by their hitters so far, Torkelson going to third on the sac bunt with Buxton running and then a three-run error.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 So all the strategy and moves, get thrown out due to a mis-played ground ball. Dave Borton 1
RocRedWing Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 jeffers is putting the team on his back today!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 What a joke to use a position player to pitch here. I don’t care if there’s a DH Danchat and Dave Borton 2
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Let’s go ahead and score another four and go to Willi Castro to close this thing out. wabene 1
