RpR Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I do not think Keuchel is the only pitching problem.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Am I remembering correctly? Jeff Hoffman was a former Twins spring training legend this year that opted out? Danchat 1
DKrz56 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Keuchel release should open the door for a Funderburk MLB call up taking his place on the roster and 40 man. Then option one of Winder or Headrick for a bat until a 5th starter is needed. FLtwinfan 1

Probably go with a six man rotation once Ryan is back or Keuchel will go to the pen. Dallas's wife said a lot positive things about Falvey for giving Dallas this opportunity. There is no way Falvey will release Keuchel so quickly after that. Hosken Bombo Disco and RpR 2

Longdistancetwins Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Had a little Phillies preview on TV last night while visiting friends in South Jersey. Glad I wasn’t able to stay for this game!! I did have the “Hey, you guys have Jake Cave?” reaction.
Rosterman Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Wow. Philadelphia is now playing Jake Cave.

insagt1 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Kuechel was pretty bad. Winder isn't ready for prime time unless he's in there to mop up a mess. Twins get to 6 over .500 and they just can't sustain it. Other than Maeda's nice outing, the team has looked pretty helpless the last 4 games, especially the pen, and most the starters, and several of the hitters....and well...guess the team has looked pretty helpless..... Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Twins getting crushed and their magic number decreasing. Just your typical night in the AL Central. Longdistancetwins and Parfigliano 2
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Jordan Luplow is the winner of position player pitcher.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 This game was an embarrassment for the Twins. Phillie is not a bad team (they DID go to the WS last year!) but Twins were not competitive tonite. Guards lost so they get away with it.
MABB1959 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Luckily Cleveland doesn’t seem to want to win the ALC either
