stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I am not smarter than anyone else, but my thought was the praise for Dallas Keuchel was a little much or at least premature. I think this outing has already negated his one run in five innings last time out. DKrz56, GCTF, Hosken Bombo Disco and 4 others 7
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Get him out of there , Painfull glunn 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Yup, it’s going to mess up the bullpen, but he can’t keep throwing that stuff and expect to get outs. glunn 1
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Is Dallas the Old Testament or the New Testament of Hard Work and Determination?

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Sorry Dallas , this experiment --- while it was good intentions, Does anyone seriously think any other Team in the Majors would of tried it, ?? i dont jaimedude 1

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I checked the twitter accounts of the writers who cover the Twins and the Twins official website and no updates on anybody with injuries. Is there any news on the injured players, including Solano, Ryan and Kirilloff? glunn and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
CRF Verified Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Well...that was about how I thought it would go. We got a whole 1.2 innings and 6 runs out of Dallas. Not good.
jorgenswest Verified Member Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 One start that somehow worked and one disastrous start. They don’t need a fifth starter until the 24th with several upcoming off days. Release Keuchel. Bring up a bat. If Ryan isn’t back give someone else a shot at 5th starter in two weeks. glunn and Hosken Bombo Disco 2

Well that was most recent but unfortunate, but I am counting at least 4 Twins Daily writers, including some honchos, who wrote similar priase (and i will stop counting)

Linus Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Should have left Keuchal in. Game is done and now we are gonna fry our bullpen. Leave him in for 80 pitches and save the pen. RpR 1

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 People talk about the easy schedule. I don't see it. The good news is they don't have to go on a heater or anything like that, just survive that Cle-Texas stretch & should be ok

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I’m guessing they give him another start. If the brain trust thinks the outing against Arizona was more indicative of his stuff, it makes sense. I just don’t see it. I can’t see how the leash would be much longer than three starts. glunn 1
