Ober will be lucky to get through 5

He'll be lucky to get to the 5th at this rate.  Not good at all today.

Am I being deceived or did Gallo get a homerun?!?!

Yup. He won't sit for two weeks now.

I'm a little concerned with Julien. The swings are a little wild right now, missing often. It is tough to be a rookie.

Well, he had reached base in 7 of 9 PA when Rocco decided to bench him against the back- to-back lefties. Not a believer in momentum, apparently.

Yah, I wondered about that too especially because he has battled lefties fair enough.

'Believing in he has a hard time hitting lefties, did not want that momentum.

How drunk have to be to run on field for a ticket to jail and lifetime ban from facility?

…or, to go to a night game in Detroit?

To be fair, the results at the major-league level against lefties so far has not been good, despite a couple of important hits. In the minors, the OBP has been fine against lefties, though.

What's your definition of "fair enough"?

In 29 PA he has a triple slash of .207/207/207, good for an OPS of .414.  6 for 29, no extra base hits, no walks and 9 strikeouts.

The stats show that Julien has been struggling versus same sided arms, true. I also know that if a batter never gets any opportunities  to improve they won't. He has had some good at bats but clearly does not hit LH pitchers well.

I have walked to Tiger Stadium (old and new) from hotel's we were staying in numerous times.  It was great.  Especially Nemo's Bar.

Game day runs an ad between innings that includes footage of Byron Buxton sprinting through what appears to be an outfield with a baseball glove on his left hand.
