Twins bullpen are terrible tonight.  I think Baldelli left Balazoviv in there too long.   He allowed 6 hits in two innings.   What the hell was Baldelli doing?

Using up innings to rest the best arms for tomorrow ...

Tigers - as they seem to often against the Twins - singled us to death.  Quick tally was 17 hits on 28 balls in play.

A trait we haven't been been good at for quite some time now.

Every time I think about coming back in on the twins, they pull me back out. Bizarro Michael Corleone

Every time there’s a slight bit of positive momentum, this team makes sure to cut that out immediately and lose series to terrible teams… I suppose that’s just what .500 teams do.

4 game series, but your final point still stands.

said earlier..Twins don't exactly shine against the Tigers. Bullpen awful tonite. Had a glimmer in the 9th but Correa had a miserable AB to end it. But won't win many with this awful pitching.

At least we lost no ground with the Guardians losing too.

( I had similar frustrations as Houston beat up the O's pen again..they were terrible, but TB lost also.)

Funny thing: when do you know how many runs is enough? Tonite Lehigh Valley was leading Rochester 14-8 late (it was 13-4 at one point) The 14th run came in the 8th inning. Rochester needed to 6 to tie and they got 5. Who knew how crucial that 14th run would be.

Blame it on James Rowson, who teaches contact as a way to score runs.
