He was helped - greatly - by diaz expanding the strike zone. Don't think he would have gotten shelled, but it would've been a different game without all of those outside strikes.- 13 replies

Tigers - as they seem to often against the Twins - singled us to death. Quick tally was 17 hits on 28 balls in play. -
I, for one, always assumed the hitting would regress before the pitching. Unwatchable.

I would be pleased with any of those guys, depending on the cost of course. This is a sleeper pick, but Reyes Moronta has closer stuff can could be available.

Seems to be a very reasonable deal; a bit curious why he didn't pitch another year and then roll the dice.

I was hoping someone would write up the analysis - thanks Cody. I question whether the value of the position - catcher - has increased in the Moneyball era; whether more catchers will be elected versus earlier eras.
