These late games are a bit of a shock to the system. It does allow me to wait a few minutes and do the Immaculate Grid. Is anyone else playing this game?

Ramen. And Blizzards.

Pastafarian Prayer

Our pasta, who art in a colander, draining be your noodles. Thy noodle come, Thy sauce be yum, on top some grated Parmesan. Give us this day, our garlic bread, …and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trample on our lawns. And lead us not into vegetarianism, but deliver us some pizza, for thine is the meatball, the noodle, and the sauce, forever and ever. R’amen.

May the Flying Spaghetti Monster hear your prayer and his noodly appendage bless you.

The square root of your age! Must mean it's a winner tonight!

Have sourdough naan dough resting. Lentils (daal) to follow. Naan will get my just harvested garlic, butter, and chopped parsley.
Wichita Windsurge alternate cap, upside down cow.

Yes.  It's crazy how my brain just goes numb when I try and think of players though.

I won't tell anyone if you don't.  Nobody will ever know.

When that happens to me, I just figure it's the Scotch.

OK, that's fine. But that's not what you said. I was going by what you said, not by what you meant.

Wow that LP is a throwback. And "Loaned For Promotion" ... did you work at a radio station?

I am terrible at trivia quizes, but youngest son Cashbury (or whatever his elder brother Bashbury currently calls him in TD context) pretty regularly aces it.  He derives some pleasure in getting a good rarity score, or whatever it's called. when Twins are involved.  He was pretty proud today of this one:  (scroll away quick if you don't want to be spoiled)

A rat in the house may eat the ice cream lol

That's a new one on me.  Why is a mnemonic needed for that particular word?  Was the US defense department hard at work on acronyms at some point and decided this was required?

The remake of Bert Bacharach's "Always something there to remind me" in the Prime commercial is fantastic.

As it happens I actually did do volunteer work at a non-profit radio station back in that era. But it's just a coincidence that the video happened to have that picture.

How old is the boy?  It's funny, most of the players I get right played between 91 and 01.  Back to my youth when all we did was baseball.

I enjoyed my obscure Twins AS today.  0.5%!
