Well, then I was misinformed! But the point remains, they are taking it easy on him .... and that directive is likely from the FO. That said, I'd not handle it that way.

He has had 2 major reconstructive knee surgeries in the last 2 years. I would hope the FO takes it easy. Like to see him around awhile

That seems like a new development then. He came up May 29, and played complete games May 29 and 30, and June 1-4. Off day, then didn't play June 6th. Off June 10, 12, and today.

My guess is he's having issues.

Just so we're all clear, Vazquez has an OPS 80 some points below Kepler.

I realize it's at catcher, and offense is hard to find, but so far the Vazquez addition has been pretty iffy.
