Just got to look at GameDay and wondering why they would pull Ryan after 5 innings?  Did he really have 107 pitches?  Hope he didn't get hurt

Haven't gotten to hear too much of the game, but when I heard that the Giants have stranded 11 runners, the 107 pitches made sense.

He really had that many pitches.  He was at 60 after the first 3 innings.

110 off the bat...  What's the max ever recorded?

New York Yankees slugger Giancarlo Stanton previously had the record for the hardest-hit ball, reaching 122.2 mph in 2017 and again last year. As of August 2022, per Google.

The most runners left on base during a nine-inning shutout is sixteen. It has occurred twice in Major League history: May 24, 1994, when Philadelphia shut out St. Louis (4-0), and May 7, 1998, when Toronto shutout Seattle (6-0).

Anyone else extremely terrified every time the ball gets hit to Julien? It's like Chuck Knoblauch-esque fear.

Knoblauch was actually a really good fielder for the Twins. The only thing that stood between him and about a half dozen Gold Gloves was Roberto Alomar.

Fielding the ball wasn't his problem, he had the throwing yips.

Not until he went to the Bronx. As far as playing baseball goes, he was solid here.

Off the field......eh.

I mean, Julien had a throwing error today too. The point being I just don't like him over there. I would really like to see 3B Lewis, SS Correa, 2B Farmer...

He doesn't deserve to be spoken about in that way. You are being far too charitable. He's a bleeping bleepbleep.

Sounds like we not gonna see Polanco for awhile,  Hope Rocco gives all the young guys a  chance to Develop,  see more than i need to know what Salano ,  does in the field

Rocco's new contract must have a bonus for stolen bases.

They have been running more lately

and here’s the issue with Duran being closer only instead of Swiss army bullpen man. Hasn’t pitched at all lately so coming into 7-1 game. Dumb
