IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 2 runs may well be enough for NY to win this one.

cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Maybe the Twins should try to do what Trevino just did there.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Maybe in the next few days we’ll get some semblance of offense back on the team?
ziggy Verified Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Twins pitcher allowed to throw over 100 pitches. That should be a victory for the team.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Can't do anything but tip your cap to Lopez. Wasn't the sharpest, but battled through 6 innings with 2 runs, could have been 1. Nice job.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 At least hicks stinks. I couldn’t take another game of him killing us
cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Someone tell Buxton he actually needs to swing the bat to hit the ball.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 We’ve got bad buxton. Maybe he needs a day off lol

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Oh good we had a whimper of an inning so cole could come back out for the 8th.

It's on the rest of the team now.

Sutter50 Verified Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Ok this game thread has me convinced. I finally have to give in. I now believe the Twins will not score any runs today I now believe the Twins will have a season record of 10-152. I now believe Buxton will strikeout 600 times this year. I now believe Julien will never be successful I now believe Kepler needs to be released I now believe that all the coaches and Rocco should be fired for incompetence. I miss anything?
RpR Verified Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Well at least Larnach and Miranda actually hit the ball.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 After Friday I said to myself “all we need to do is win 2 of the next 5 matchups to win the season series!” god I’m dumb

tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Have always been a fan of Max Kepler, but right now he is lost. At the plate Max is flailing and now he reaches back and runs his glove into the wall instead of reaching up to catch the ball, costing Pablo Lopez and the Twins a run. I sure hope he can turn it around because Wallner didn't look too good in his recent trial and Gallo is looking even worse.
