Yeah I think he's probably due for a rebound, and honestly, where else are they gonna spend that money? He's a better player than he's shown this year.

If the rest of the team can't stay healthy, then he will have to be much better for this team to contend.

I know I am not in the minority who would be delighted to see Correa opt in to the next 2 years of his contract.

He goes, Twins go back to fighting Royals and Tigers for best of the worst.

We have no one in the system even close to as good as he is with his glove; the Twins would be losing even worse than they are now.

The twins have to decide what they are. Are we a legitimate contender or not? Maybe so in our pathetic division but the better teams in the AL are on a much different level. Everyone in the world knows we need pitching help. Sinking that much money in to one guy on a team that doesn’t have a realistic chance to compete. I don’t know, doesn’t make a ton of sense to me

I ponder the reasoning that Arreaz is DH, and Gordon at Second with Miranda at First, MIranda has a good bat, while Arraez is a better fielder.

So with hunting season coming up, I'm reminded of a tragic story of two of my retired USAF friends. They were out hunting when one of them clutched his chest and fell to the ground, not visibly breathing. My other friend frantically called 911 and told the story. "I think he's dead!" he cried into the phone.

The 911 operator told him "Well, the first thing we need to do is make sure he's actually dead."

"One sec," my friend said, dropping the phone. A couple seconds later the 911 operator heard the sound of a gunshot.

My friend came back on the phone. "That should do it," he said. "Now what?"

Joe at 57 pitches and 0 runs given up thru 3 after that adventurous 34 pitch 1st inning has to be considered a major win at this point

Garlick should never see a RH pitcher, much less Garrett Cole, but given the options there isn't much Rocco can do. I'd take Garlick over Hamilton even if Garlick had a cast on one leg and two broken wrists.

I’ve been watching a TV series with my wife. I asked her if she wanted to watch another episode. She said not now, so I said no problem, I can watch this horror movie, so I switched to the Twins game.

I had to take a step back and play some golf tonight vs watching this game (my golf game wasn’t any less frustrating than the Twins, but another story).

I return to see Correa has two xbhs with nobody on.  Sigh.

I will say there’s some great jokes being written here, though.  So we have that going for us, which is nice.

He knows that RBI are meaningless, and waits until there is no one on base on purpose. :go:

I'd say it's more like "Groundhog Day." But without, you know, the humor, good will, or redeeming resolution.

Yeah, it's almost as annoying as the Mario Brothers game over sound they play at TF when an opponant K's.
