Those were pretty much the exact words too. To answer your question: no clue.

I don’t know if @Vanimal46 heard that part. I was kind of sleepwalking through the interview til that point.

There's a risk it becomes a dumpster fire, but this topic would be a pretty solid thread and a welcome departure from a lot of the click bait bs that's clogging up this site.

At least after this series we can kind of tune out and put our energy into the Vikings disappointing everyone and just missing the playoff again

How have the Vikings been doing? I ain't paid attention... (i am cheap that way)

New management improving things?

Should have our first real sense of that after Sunday's game against GB.

The NFL season starts tomorrow night, which could realistically be a warning shot about irrelevance to Twins management …

I used to be a HUGE Vikings fan, but as they are the eternal losers, have only paid any attention since 1976 with Favre and Keenum as quarterbacks.

The other 40 plus years, zip attention.

As if their lackluster play of late hasn't already started that ball rolling.

That means riding your horses as long as you can while they're still effective, because they're already stretched out enough to handle it and are trusted.

I heard it as well and was concerned hearing it. If there are several players on this roster that are “psychologically afraid of failure” then you have a bad culture in the organization. A la Mike Zimmer creating such a rotten culture in the Vikings locker room people were afraid of making mistakes because they didn’t want to get yelled at.

Twins bullpen leads the A.L. Giving up 74   Longballs, Wonder whats wrong,- ??

The bullpen is weak and 5 innings is considered a successful start. Can’t win that way….and the offense is weak too

I flat out don’t believe him. If you make it to that level you have experienced failure already and also worked your butt off training etc for lots of years. You come tough if you make it to the majors or you don’t get there. It’s them. It’s Rocco it’s whoever but players aren’t inherently that soft.
