If he takes a deeper angle, doesn't dive, one run scores, 2nd and third. Stassi isn't scoring from 1st unless the ball gets past him.

Disagree, that’s a ball from a RH tailing away. He wasn’t cutting it off. It was getting to the wall and tying the game. You could argue it was dumb to try since it almost cost the IPHR but it was tying the game IMO

Have to wonder if the orioles saw something with Lopez that no one else did. Was a curious move to get rid of him while he was under team control and they were competitive (and still are) for the first time in years. He’s already got 2 blown saves in a few weeks time. Well on to pagan territory

Did he make any bad calls when twins hitters were up?  Umpire crap usually goes both ways, it usually evens out over time.
