And, for the 51st time this year, the twins have scored 3 or fewer runs.

Thats 45% of their games. But I’m sure they’re still top 5 in TFdRes+% or something

Unlucky on the bloop single, but you can't walk Max frigging Stassi.

And Gordon...that's just stupid.

Exactly!  Not only is Stassi a poor hitter (.207 avg) but Lopez had him 0-2!  Moreover, Stassi was 0 for his last 10 going into that AB.

Lopez was a guy the Orioles got in the minors and made something out of.  I was hoping it would take a bit longer for the Twins staff to ruin him.

20 innings, 7 runs this series.

You blame the good but dumb pitcher we had in there with one out to get and a two run lead and a 1-2 count who suddenly starts nibbling and walks a guy.  I guess if you’re a relief pitcher traded to the Twins you have to sign up to be as dumb as the rest of them.

Lost yet another eminently winnable game. UGGHH!

Lost count how often that's happened this season.

It's only one game but they do add up don't they?

Again, why was Gordon in the game?

Because you have to play 9 guys. Only bench player left was Leon.

Well, matchups give you Cave pinch-hitting in the sixth and Beckham in the eighth. That means the choice for left field is leave in Beckham or go with Gordon, Leon or a pitcher.

Well......did anyone NOT see "that ending" coming?  Say what you want, but its over. The way this team is playing it will be a struggle to finish above .500 and finish in 3rd place.  Life as a fan of a Minnesota professional team is just plain miserable.

Why was he not still on the bench?

14 runners left on base.  Wow.  That's difficult to imagine for most teams, save for the anti-clutch hitting prowess of the Twins.

Thought I saw a comment earlier of 0 for 10 with runners in scoring position.  If true, then we ended 0 for 16.  That's even more difficult to imagine.

O for 14 was the total, but who's counting?

Awful AB for Sanchez; Kepler is totally lost and Buxton with another miserable night at the plate. Great catch in the 10th but offensively he just isn't there this season. Twins AB's in extra innings were disgusting.

Orioles were not dumb in offloading Lopez. Pagan just doesn't have it. He should have been released along with Duffey. This was a real bad loss. The kind teams that aren't going to win divisions suffer routinely.

Ugh. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

clutch hitting is a very big problem for the twins

their MVP is hitting below Mendoza Line with RSIP

pitchers rather face Buxton than Correa, but don't have one to protect Correa

By chance would anyone know what the record is for blown multi-run leads in the 9th for a season?

Throughout the history of baseball there have been teams that have won 100+ wins in a row under those circumstances.

They could be the White Sox. They've done it 58 times. And Cleveland did it for the 52nd time today. It's frustrating, but we haven't cornered the market on doing it.

Remind me again...what exactly has changed about our bullpen? Looks like the same old bunch of stiffs to me. Why is Pagan still on this team?
