So the opposition is hanging close. The opposition puts a couple of good swing against our bullpen and we end up losing. It's like gargilng peanut butter, or sprinting in quicksand for this team to win or dominate. It was ONE hanging curveball to Ohtani, he doesn't miss many of those. The BP has thrown 6 innings, given up 1 run and K'd 11 over the last 2 nights. The sky is not falling.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Buxton will meet with the FO tomorrow. "Guys, my knee is really hurting. For another $5 million, I think I can jump a little bit higher".

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 How many guys are up for the Cy Young on this year's Angels staff?
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Skinny Sano with his 3rd K of the night

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Tell Kepler to shower tonite. He should sleep with correia. Maybe going to the opp field will wear off.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Byron see Correa he did what he should on the same pitch you struck out on, Pull pull pull, getting old

It would be nice to limit that a little by only having to pitch 2 - 3 innings per night instead of 4 - 5 innings.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I bet Buxton and Kepler order pulled pork when they eat out.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 We're gonna let this little squirt tie or even win the game?

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Unlucky on the bloop single, but you can't walk Max frigging Stassi. And Gordon...that's just stupid.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I knew Lopez was the key acquisition.
ChineseGandalf Verified Member Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 This game should have been over. Missed a strike three call on a clear strike up in the zone (poor framing by Sanchez though). Classic frustrating situation... very Twins-like this year.
