We bust our butts the majority of the game.  We just can't push a run or two more.  So the opposition is hanging close.  The opposition puts a couple of good swing against our bullpen and we end up losing.  It's like gargilng peanut butter, or sprinting in quicksand  for this team to win or dominate.

It was ONE hanging curveball to Ohtani, he doesn't miss many of those. The BP has thrown 6 innings, given up 1 run and K'd 11 over the last 2 nights. The sky is not falling.

Buxton will meet with the FO tomorrow. "Guys, my knee is really hurting.  For another $5 million, I think I can jump a little bit higher".

Buck jumped, Buck jumped.  He'll be out a week, now.

Come on. He’s more durable than that.

It’s only LANDING that is a problem.

I THOUGHT HE MIS TIMED HIS JUMP, BUT yes you could be right,

He got turned around before he jumped.  I think if that doesn't happen he probably gets it.

They are doing fine, but what worries me is when teams see the same guys over and over again.  It would be nice to limit that a little by only having to pitch 2 - 3 innings per night instead of 4 - 5 innings.

I bet Buxton and Kepler order pulled pork when they eat out.

Maybe. Nothing sliced that’s for sure.

Not sure I see a huge difference:

Still an upgrade from Cave, Beckham or even Celestino ?

Definite agreement there. I thought you were referencing Kepler's tendency to pull.

That didn't age well....

This game should have been over. Missed a strike three call on a clear strike up in the zone (poor framing by Sanchez though). Classic frustrating situation... very Twins-like this year.
