The Angels fans are probably watching these last two games and thinking, “Wow, they have such a good pitching staff!”

Or, "Why didn't we re-sign Bundy?"

97 from Jax. More of that, less sliders please.

He does seem to hang the slider middle/middle pretty often

Frankly, I'm losing interesting baseball, at least the way the Twins play it. Pitchers pulled after 65 pitches and 5 shutout innings. The lack of fundamentals, the analytics above all else approach.  Just boring baseball.

Thielbar, Jax, Fulmer, Duran, Lopez is a great little bullpen group. I would love to try to keep Fulmer next year and add Alcala to that mix next year.

Somehow even with all of that new bullpen depth we end up with 2 Pagan/Megill games per week. Ultimately, what I will say is I'm not against the maximize SP by not taking them a 3rd time through the order but if you're going to do that you have to proportionally overspend on your bullpen. Traditionally, that group above would be enough... now it's not because we need the bullpen to pick up comparatively more innings.

Our bullpen could use John Gatling.

(Chief, I'll save you the math. The movie's 28 years old, so I suppose Gatling would be about 58, so maybe not.)

Kepler doesn't need luck.  He needs a kick in the head.  This constant rolling over on the  pitch and hitting into the shift is far more than a liability.  It's insanity.  Isn't the definition  of insanity is doing something over and over again, expecting a different outcome?

He may be trying to perfect the 3 hopper to second.

If "the 2nd baseman doesn't even need to move his glove, and kep will roll it in there" represents perfection, he's there

I think that shows us all we need to know about Buxton's knee. He could not jump to catch that one.

He'll get tomorrow off anyway.

We bust our butts the majority of the game.  We just can't push a run or two more.  So the opposition is hanging close.  The opposition puts a couple of good swing against our bullpen and we end up losing.  It's like gargilng peanut butter, or sprinting in quicksand  for this team to win or dominate.
