I'm delighted for Byron, most of all that he and the center field wall in Chavez Ravine parted on friendly terms.

I’m going to say it again … I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY love the AL uniforms

They look like blue jeans and T-shirt.?

They look like charcoal gray tops and bottoms with gold lettering to me. Very sharp ?

I did not know Cabrera and Pujols were in the game; I could not watch it.

Buxton is one of the most photogenic guys when playing the game. He has a classic natural, joyful look.

Even when he whiffs, he heads back to the dugout with a "how about that" look on his face.

Buxton hits the go ahead home run, and the Yankees guy gets the MVP.  Keep rising, sea levels, so we can get rid of that team.

I was much more sympathetic when I learned that Stanton was from the LA area and went to Dodger games as a kid.  And the FOX broadcasters stopped to interview Buxton after the game as a sort of consolation prize.

So happy for Buxton.

After an injury plagued career, he probably wondered many times "Will I ever realize my true potential"? And I'm sure that was so hard to deal with, mentally, for so long.

Now, no matter what, he can say he was an All Star. And to hit a HR in the ASG, against the best of the best....nobody can take that away from him.

I guess what I'm trying to say is the guy can probably, without any doubts, feel like he's a "star player" in the MLB now. That question has been put to rest.

And Stanton tied it up with a 2-run home run. I guess I don’t view this as a snub for Buxton, but Buxton did get the first post-game interview.

Oh, and as much as I dislike the Yankees, let’s not hope for world catastrophic events to get rid of them

I'm wondering if Stanton would have gotten it if he had been the one to hit the go-ahead HR.

I'm scarred by the Cy Young excuses for Roger Clemens during his time with the Yankees (He won the most games! .. but not the ERA title-------->2 years later - he won the ERA title! .. but not the most games...)

Eh, maybe … if there was an outside factor, I don’t think it was him being a Yankee, but growing up down the street from Dodgers Stadium. That said, if we are playing the if game, if Stanton didn’t hit his HR, does Buxton still hit his? Initially, I was kind of miffed about it, but I don’t think it was a snub, either.

Stanton drove in two of the runs and the HRs were hit back to back so it's not like Buxton had some late inning heroics.

Would I have liked Buxton to get MVP? Of course. But if Stanton had hit the solo shot and Buck the two run HR and Stanton had gotten MVP, I'd have been way more annoyed.

I really like those all dark grey uniforms!

I liked the uniforms as well.

Of course, unless I'm missing something, the Twins are one of the teams that DON'T have that jersey available in the MLB Shop.
