We didn't dump Tyler Wells ... it's really an important distinction. I was actually more disappointed to lose him than Baddoo.

Mini rant:

This isn't a pitchers duel so much as a string of brutal ABs. Not exactly an original observation, and maybe I'm hitting the dog days a little early but it's hard for me to tune into games like this. Whether it's the Twins or their opponent, watching guys swing out of their asses and then sit down or make weak contact is so damn boring. Kudos to Smeltzer and Wells for getting outs, but these lineups are up there just hacking away.
