CRF Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Bremer can't even tell the difference between a routine short fly ball and a bomb anymore. He needs lasik or at least a stronger prescription on his eyeglasses.

CRF Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Oops...meant to say Lasik. I think Lasix is a diuretic! I guess whichever one works.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 111 MPH exit velocity right at the LF. Ugh.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Is Buxton out of commission today? Seems like that would have been a critical time to PH Celestino for him.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Celestino seems to hit so many choppers that he somehow never beats out. Appears to be much faster than he really is. Also, with Buxton not PH in that situation, you have to assume he's unavailable today

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Oh right. Drier time. Too easy to get caught up in the game...

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Oh well. Check swing dribblers are rarely good news.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Need some 9th inning heroics once again…
Twins_Fan_For_Life Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 You don't suppose the Orioles will send their closer back out there again today?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 We been getting to their closer last few times, right? Do they keep sending him out there? Or do they try someone new?
CRF Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Ok..time to kick the comeback/walk off into gear.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 this so easily could have been a sweep. Not sure what it’s going to take to get this offense going CONSISTENTLY and not put up 8+ runs one game and then score 4 runs the next three. Simply far too much offensive talent to be this inconsistent
CRF Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Oh well...the third time wasn't the charm. Off to Chicago and Texas.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Well, that was anticlimatic. Glad we didn't get our hopes up.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2022 Posted July 3, 2022 Twins have now scored 3 runs or fewer in 6 of their last 12 games

I was actually more disappointed to lose him than Baddoo. OK. Another guy we allowed a team to take away from us. Either way, he of course pitched like an all-star today. Dang it.
