Yep. This is what I was saying prior to the last half. When it was 4-2 and you go to Minaya for 3 or 4 innings that's fine because you still have a chance, albeit small. Now there is virtually zero chance for the Twins to come back and win this game. Let Bundy pitch through the 4th or 5th, use Minaya for the rest, and then either use a real reliever if the game is still close-ish, or bring on a position player.

We may be witnessing Bundy's swan song. Once two of Gray, Ryan, and WInder get back one of the starters has do go by DFA or into the bullpen. I'm guessing Bundy goes on the IL after today assuming Ryan can come back for the nest open start - next Thursday against the Yankees if I'm calculating right. Archer hasn't been great but he's looked better than Bundy.

Archer will stick around as long as he's healthy. The numbers the first time through the order imply that he would be a fairly competent reliever.
