Finding out if Sands is a major league caliber pitcher seems like a lot more useful way to use the innings that continuing to give Bundy starts. Agree. Bundy is known. Try the unknown. All it costs is a DFA'd Bundy which is nothing.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Cano has no idea where his pitches are going
LewFordLives Verified Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 This is painful. If I wanted to watch AAA baseball I would go to St Paul.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Congrats to Berrios, went 7 innings and got 13 Ks. There's nothing like the Twins lineup helping a struggling starter!

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Cano seemed to have figured out his control issues in AAA this year, but he's right back to being unable to throw strikes. They need to get him back to AAA and work on that, or he's just not going to work as a major leaguer.

tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Bundy is better than Happ or Shoemaker? Right? I think so. Where is Winder?
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 The good news is this is only one game, and Baltimore is currently leading Cleveland so if both lose, the Twins will keep their 4.5 game lead.

I’m not sure I’m really interested in extending the playoff losing streak. Im 35 years old and have seen 6 total playoff wins since I started following the team. I’ve had my fill of “it’s good just to make it”. Maybe in a couple years, the young pitching prospects can take flight, but anyone going into the postseason with this weak offense and someone like Ober or smeltzer expected to start a playoff game…yeah, no thanks
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 Remember last night when the bullpen didn’t give up a run lol

CRF Verified Member Posted June 4, 2022 Posted June 4, 2022 How the hell does Angel have a job? He's unquestionably the worst ump...maybe in MLB history. Does he have his eyes closed most of the time?

Yep, the same thread where someone suggested trading multiple prospects to get some help for the playoffs. Yeah, no. 10 of our 55 games have been against teams above .500, for a record of 3-7. I think I’ll pass
