Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Maybe Buxton needs to go back to his old #9 spot in the lineup...

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 The all-time record for hitless at-bats by a Twin position player belonged to Butch Wynegar, I believe. IIRC, it was around 30 at-bats. Buxton is getting too close.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Other than a bootlegger ? who would name a kid Brewer, see he went to school in Alabama
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Hajjar has been really, really good for FTM thus far.

Just no way for the kid to adjust to such a position shift. Absolutely no way to know unless it is tried. It seems Arraez and Gordon both did OK and were helpful. And Lewis is more athletic than both of them.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 I was driving on I10 through Tucson recently when I noticed a cop car trailing me with its lights flashing. Well ... I gradually increased my speed until I was going almost 100, but the cop just stayed right behind me. Finally I gave up and pulled over. "Sir," Said the cop. "Do you know how fast you were going?" "Pretty fast, officer. Almost 100. That's all I got." "Give me a reason I shouldn't ticket you.," he said. ... I thought for a few seconds ... "Well sir," I said. "My wife told me a couple days ago she was leaving me for a cop. I was afraid you were trying to return her."

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Perhaps we (myself included) were too quick to right Miranda off after less than 50 plate appearances in his first MLB cup of coffee when offense is down across the board.

He’s not a .143 hitter. He might not walk more than La Tortuga, but he can hit.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Good hitting by Celestino. The right handed not quite regulars have produced.
Diesel Verified Member Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Celestino!!! Also Miranda is slower than I thought he would be
