I live in Indiana now, but get back home regularly for work. I was just introduced to Wig and Pen on a recent trip. Definite winner.

MadHits Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Love having all the speed ahead of Polo as the lineup turns over.
Doctor Gast Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Garlick should have walked he swung at 3 clearly balls.
MplsFan Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I get that he’s a first overall pick, but for a rookie who didn’t play the last two years, Royce Lewis sure looks comfortable. I’d imagine they’ll shift him to 3rd and Urshela to first when Correa comes back? They wouldn’t send him down, right?

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 I’ve spent $69.99 in plenty of stupid ways over my lifetime (i.e., going 71 in a 55 just west of Muscatine a few years ago), so I’m seriously considering the rest-of-the-season special from MLB.TV. Apologies for asking question you all have dealt with in other threads. I know I’m stuck with not getting games the Twins play against the Cubs, Reds, Tigers and the Team-That-Will-Not-Be-Named because I live in the blackout zone. I’ll still be able to watch them play the Team-That-Will-Not-Be-Named on normal cable, right? How does the whole ZIP code thing operate? If I’m traveling to Iowa, Minnesota or South Dakota on work, which I do a lot, am I going to be subject to those states’ lockout rules? Or will blackout still operate off my home ZIP code? But in the case of blackout games, am I remembering correctly that I’ll be able to watch them after the fact? Something like 90 minutes later. What else didn’t I ask that I should have?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Sanchez has such raw power. That ball had no business being hit with any power at all, let alone to the wall in right center
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 okay ... let's break it open! go twins, go!

On some apps like the DTV app I stream the twins, on when I travel I just have to make sure the location permission is off then the app will presume I am in my billing zip code.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Archer keeps this up, he might see the 5th inning

Ever go to the Cheese Factory southwest of town on Highway 1? If so, you were within three miles of the farm I grew up on. Is Dane’s Dairy still there? I’d figure it was a Menards by now. Kalona. They have good pickles there too.

And one thing I enjoy is pan fried catfish … yum! oh, and rhubarb! Rhubarb custard pie is great! Why do these threads always make me hungry? Save room for late-night chicken. And might I recommend strawberry rhubarb pie if you are ever in the mood to change it up a bit. I don't know if all rhubarb plant are this resilient, but my mother brought some plants home to CT from my grandparents' house in IA on one of our summer trips. We unloaded the car and she forgot about them until we did spring cleaning the next year. She found the bag, remembered what it was, figured they were dead but gave it a try. Forty-five years later she still makes rhubarb pie from that patch of indestructible rhubarb.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 How about we let Lewis steal second instead of giving away an out
Danchat Verified Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Apparently this was a thing pre-game? Man, Oakland's stadium really is in rough shape.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Looks like archer is done. Not much if a starter if he can’t even start the 5th

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 Do the A’s really think the twins are going to risk buxton’s life and limbs by having him steal?

Hopefully they’ll all be good and stretched out by the time they play the Yankees.
