LewFordLives Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Does anyone know why Winder is getting the start? Not that I'm complaining.
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Whoever is working with the Kepler on his hitting deserves a big Raise. I think we’ve seen him hit the ball to the left side of second base more this year than he did all of last season. Now he’s doing it with some power, I think a home run and a double in the last few games. If he can keep this up, get dad to .250 to .270 with the same power as before, we now have found our number five hitter. And we need one bad.

I think I may continue to listen to this game on the radio. Thank me later. This is the correct procedure. Keep up the good work.

It definitely looks like he's changed his approach and trying to go the other way, instead of being pull happy. It's working.

wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 This inning can be a good indicator of where the bats are. If they keep adding on, I'd say that's a pretty good indicator that the bats are coming around.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Inconsistent ball/strike calling today. Typical human back there.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 I don't know if I've ever shared this...before we started dating (these many years ago), Mrs Chief was going out with a circus clown. Lemme tell ya, I had some pretty big shoes to fill.
