Does anyone know why Winder is getting the start? Not that I'm complaining.

Whoever is working with the Kepler on his hitting deserves a big Raise. I think we’ve seen him hit the ball to the left side of second base more this year than he did all of last season. Now he’s doing it with some power, I think a home run and a double in the last few games. If he can keep this up, get dad to .250 to .270 with the same power as before, we now have found our number five hitter. And we need one bad.

Paddack got pushed back, didn't catch the reason.  Winder is stretched out, so he got the nod.

Ober went to the IL with a groin. I think today slotted better for Winder, since he'd been idle for awhile.

It definitely looks like he's changed his approach and trying to go the other way, instead of being pull happy. It's working.

Maybe they can work with Sano next!!!!!

This inning can be a good indicator of where the bats are.  If they keep adding on, I'd say that's a pretty good indicator that the bats are coming around.

They are playing in a controlled environment (a dome), which could be a factor.

Gray is making a rehab start up the coast in Clearwater.  So far so good through 2 innings.
