Game7-91 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Can Twins BP record 6 outs b4 alliwing 3 runs? Win probability has decreased after Astros scored 4th run. 3 run lead in 8th is a nailbiter these days.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 I hate when umpires make the case for electronic strike zones
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 They struck out Castro two times, before the umpire finally called it the third try.

But if he’s going to be a guy with a high K rate…which is very much what he looks like…the power needs to start showing up. Surprisingly very little x-base power so far, although the amateur and minor league track record suggests it’ll show up eventually.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Polanco makes the tough play look difficult!
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 I guess I'll put the pork away and get out the chicken!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 That took forever, but hey, our first series win in Houston in 7 years!

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Just in time to leave work ... rib dinner tonight ... and, no, not chicken ribs

stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 Nice series. Polanco played like an All-Star and a lot of players contributed. Columé got the job done!

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 The A’s are grateful the Twins took 3 of 4, they should be 2 games out unless Texas makes a big comeback

So I'll just stop before I hurt myself. Someone told me, "Take one day at a time". So I did. I retired the next day.
Major League Ready Verified Member Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 That series was a lot of fun and gives us reason to be optimistic. Lots of contribution from relatively new members of the pitching staff. No doubt they are out of it but I am hoping to watch a couple months of this type of baseball.

If I retired tomorrow, it would require a hell of a lot more math than if I was simply going to figure out how long until I could retire! And that math would have to be quite creative to make it work!
