Hindsight's 20-20 - and, when they made the decision to let Eddie walk, I wasn't too upset. But after seeing Jake Cave and Kyle Garlick and just the overall malaise of this group, I think the front office made a mistake.

Eddie was one of the worst offenders when it came to sloppy plays / not running his hardest. I hate to rip on him like this but it’s true.

Watch this team just knuckle under, and do nothing on offense the rest of the game.  There is no heart, no fight, no fire whatsoever.  Just a bunch of schmucks collecting paychecks.

I'd say sure, except for the poor plate appearances and shoddy fielding.  We don't have a bunch of guys taking good at bats, but just not able to drive the ball.  A huge issue with this team right now is just sloppy play, not executing on things you learn in little league.  That's not a talent thing, that's an effort thing.

I was going to comment that Cruz was in a little snag. He's a smart hitter with a short stroke who uses the whole field and sometimes goes outside the whole field.
