I don't disagree, but he still isn't fast. Sprint speed last year was 26.3. For reference, Ehire was 26.2, and Sano 26.5

Once again, given my sprint speed, "veteran" is an apt description.

Simmons was probably gassed, it's been a full day since he had a day off. 

 

A day off five games into the season.

You might be onto something. I don't recall hearing him say that he "was in the best shape of his life" coming into ST either.

So Polanco and Garver both look totally lost. Thinking that 2019 was a massive outlier for both. Neither has shown anything to prove otherwise  :wacko:

Crafty lefthander dominating the Twins is nothing new. Neither is former prospects punishing this team for letting them get away. Is Baddoo the next David Ortiz? This isn't a fun game so far. :(

Buxton is the man - we need his speed and bat.  Here's to hoping he stays healthy.   Also nice At bat by Astudillo to get the run home.

For the handwringing some have had about Astudillo, he's doing everything he's needed to and more. Great bat to have on the bench. Some hitters in this lineup wish they could make contact like he does...
