Please tell me that Buxton is in CF. Please

He appears to be per Gamecast.

Radio hasn't mentioned a substitution.

Looks like Rooker to the IL with a cervical strain. LHP Waddell called up. No corresponding 40-man move as of yet as Waddell wasn't on the 40 to begin the season.

Seems that Rooker just can't catch a break. I have high hopes for him, but he needs to get healthy and get some work in across the river.

I'm not a doctor, but before just googling this, I thought that 'cervical strain' was a problem men typically didn't have to worry about. I figured this was a modern day 'bilateral leg weakness' kind of thing with a more bizarre name. Anyway... good luck with your stiff neck Mr. Rooker. See you soon.

Man, I can't keep up with MLB any more. I thought Nomar Garciamazara had retired years ago.

I think you've got him confused with someone else.

That's twice today already. Are you sure that you're mind isn't slipping in its advanced age?

Maybe the Twins need to try calling up a prospect who's never played in AA or AAA and just see if he can let it rip? Baddoo looks like a veteran at the plate!

I agree. I'm ready Twins. Call me up

I think it should be me. Nobody looks more like a "veteran" than I do.

Morneau thought Simmons might have let up while running the bases... if so, poor effort, if no, he's slower than I thought.

Andrelton Simmons...not fast

He thought it was a standup double and jogged around first. He thought the ball would go to the corner. It hit the stands and went directly to the left fielder. Then when Simmons looked up as he rounded first, he realized, too late, that he should have been hustling.

It seems interesting to me that there have already been a couple of instances this year of Twins players not hustling on the basepaths.  Maybe Rocco needs to find better balance in his relationships with players.

I don't disagree, but he still isn't fast. Sprint speed last year was 26.3. For reference, Ehire was 26.2, and Sano 26.5

Simmons was probably gassed, it's been a full day since he had a day off.

A day off five games into the season.
