Captain hindsight is all over this thread.

Im in the “don’t blame the pitching” camp but it starts with starters only allowed to go 5. Asking many multiple relievers to be perfect is a recipe for disaster

Except they HAVE been close to perfect. Even Romo got three outs before allowing a run.

Yes they have, but it’s still not a great strategy as we keep seeing. It’s ok if you have a reliever that can throw 5 IP. Just one extra inning from the starter gives you more options

So far in this series, the announcers have noted how Arraez never strikes out, and he immediately does. Then they note how no one hit any homers and the ball isn’t carrying. Immediately Correa goes yard.

Quick, talk about how the Twins have lost 17 straight playoff games!

You have to pitch to the game you're in, if you wish to win.

Giving up more runs than the other team is a loss whether it's 10-2 or 4-1.

I generally agree. I don’t want to push a starter too hard but feel both Maeda and Berrios deserved the start of another inning, both with a short leash.

This series ended last night in the 9th inning after the Romo fiasco. Today's game just gave fans the opportunity to watch the Twins bleed out slowly on live television. Not sure why any of us watched or are still watching.

Honestly, I felt like they gave up after leaving the bases loaded in the first.
