Agree on sending Rosie there. Out by a whisker on a perfect relay, just good baseball.

That play reminds me I want to ask if anyone really understands the rule about catchers blocking home plate. This photo on the StarTrib site shows Buxton scoring the winning run the other night. The catcher had the ball in his mitt but had just caught it; nevertheless his left leg was clearly blocking the plate and had obviously been blocking it before the ball arrived.

stupid rule that can’t really be enforced. The runner wasn’t there yet either, so he can be there

Dropping in late, at my dad's house for our normal Thursday night, and watching the game...sorta. lol.

 

Sorry I don't have time to "like" a bunch of great posts!

 

I agree with sending Eddie on that play, and too close to overturn, but I firmly believe he got a finger in there to be safe.
