Max does love to ambush pitchers on that first pitch of a game. Has to be in the scouting report. I'm amazed he gets a first pitch anywhere near the strike zone.

Great play by Garcia for no outs.

 

Here's my hot take for their season: I know the Sux are the media darlings for their prospects, but they're at least a year away, maybe two.

I'm thinking a year away, as well. The old Twins/Sox rivalry could get really interesting again starting next season. (Maybe sooner, since anything can happen in a 60 game stretch.)

I would rather have no fake fan noise and instead listen to everything the players and benches chirp about.

I'd guess not wanting us to hear everything said by the benches and on the field is actually the main reason they're piping in the sound. Has little to do with ambiance.

Apparently Hill screams F bombs every time he misses a pitch and I’m sad I won’t hear it.

I kinda like it, but why is Sano hitting 8? Are his numbers against Giolito that bad, or are they just giving him more time to ramp up?
