pretty sure the Twins are confident, fans.. not so much

 

The current roster of Twins has a distinct advantage in this regard, since they've seen waaaay fewer Twins/Yankees playoff disasters than the average TD poster.

I don't understand the love for Schoop. Why not pinch hit for him against a RH pitcher? Kepler is available I believe. Schoop kills the rally, that's what he does. That's why I want Schoop GONE! If he's on the roster they will let him play.

I think one of the best words to describe the 2019 Twins is: "curious". Great team, absolutely. But a curious team. 

Curious - ya they have zero speed for stolen bases, and have trouble at home, and the overall record against 500 or better not the best either,  great but weird year,

Well, I don't know about that. Sure Rochester might go 0-19 but Detroit will be going, what, 2-17. So actually it is rather close.

Out of all the Twins pitchers this season I think I might be the most impressed with Duffey

 

Yeah, he’s really come a long way and someone I want in a tight spot. Couldn’t say that a couple months ago.

Heh... I remember listening to Mike North one day, back in the 87 playoff chase. They were trying to come up with a "Spahn and Sain" saying for the dropoff to Les Straker et. al.
