Ryan LaMarre has now hit as many home runs as a Twin as he has given up on the mound.  Which he gave up to future then and past now Twin, Tyler Austin.

Huh, just googled it and Tyler Austin now playing with the Milwaukee Brewers as they close out their season. Dude looks like he's primarily filling a need as a RH bat off the bench.

With Milwaukee: 11 games, 10 AB, 1 HR, 4 RBI - and a .300 average. Might be a nice pickup for those guys as they try and grab a wild card.

With San Fran: Batted .185 in 130 ABs with 8 HR.

Statcast announced the Sano homer as 482ft. Aye Carumba

As one of TD's posters living in Latin America, I humbly must submit a correction:  "Ay, Caramba" is the proper spelling of that phrase.

Carry on.

No one, so far. First the Twins went out to check on Gonzalez. Then the Sox went out to check on Detweiler.

They were checking on Gonzalez for a physical injury.

They might have been checking on Detweiler for an emotional one.

No, you saw on the pitch he did something.

That's cool and all, but wouldn't it have been much easier to verify the correct spelling by watching a few hundred episodes of The Simpsons with closed captioning on?

Don't have a cow, man!

That one wasn't a bad pitch, but this is ugly.

A 5-0 lead...at home...against the White Sox...

There aren't many MLB starters who could fail to hold that kind of lead.

Welp, seen enough of Perez already. Rocco likely has not, unfortunately.

'Holy meaningless stats, Batman! Just one more out for the W!'

I hope people are done questioning Sano at this point.... Dude is healthy again.

He still has his mini-slumps, where he'll get into a strikeout groove for a couple games. But I think we can all accept that as part of his game and not PANIC any more when it happens.

The dude's a powder keg and can knock a ball out of the park any given at bat. That's a huge weapon to have. I'm really impressed with how Sano's battled adversity this season. I agree he looks great.

It seemed likely to me at the start of the season that the Twins' offense would be better this year.

It did not seem likely to me that they would be able to field a lineup in which the players who don't have 30 homers could be named more quickly than the ones who do.
