PDX Twin Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Odo just has to get it to that shut down pen. You mean the one that's tired from pitching four innings in a tight game last night?
wabene Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 You mean the one that's tired from pitching four innings in a tight game last night?Well I meant the other half
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Garver in a Funk lately, wonder if Rocco knows ?
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Again: .286 and on pace for a 30-HR, 100 RBI season..336 with RISP..339 with RISP and 2 outs. Huge clutch hit last night in late innings to seal the victory. Twins are on pace to win 100 games. I'm pretty happy with Eddie's numbers and output this year. I get that watching some ABs can be frustrating, but I'm bamboozled that anyone thinks the Twins would be better without him. Those stats stent that great compared to other OF in this era. To me it comes down to money for free agents, and how fast the team thinks his production can be nearly replaced. And no one is giving a major league pitcher for him. I'd go for a high end prospect.
wabene Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 It's time to just realize that Garv Sauce is just light on the sauce and we should move him while we can still get something for him (reverse Twins psychology).
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Schoop needs to be in the lineup against every LHer.Concur.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Filling the bases for Rosario? Bold move
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Do you pitch to Cruz here? No, but then again my fastball has lost a little over the years.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Time to put this game away, Sano-zee.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Good job, Eddie Trade Bait.
bighat Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Bizarre RBI single there by Sano! Edit: RBI ground ball.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Wow, nasty groundball from Sano!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 OK, so if you don't have TV, here's a synopsis. Sano calls time and starts to back out, not granted by ump. Sano jumps back into the box and drills a hard DP ball right at SS. Ball is hit so hard it sorta knocks Anderson over, dribbling out into shallow left field. Rosario digs for third, draws a throw, which hits him and dribbles to the catcher. Got that?

Best part was Sano was actually stepping out of the box, then just said "ahhh screw it" and stepped back in and swung. Honestly looked like a play you'd see in a sandlot or whiffle ball game.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Adrianza almost hitting .300 with an OPS over .800. Just as everyone expected
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 This is how you should be treating Ross Detweiler.
