Yes, I can see where bringing in a left handed reliever against a team that punishes left handed pitchers is a great idea.

*Okay, maybe not.

Edit: So, of course, Santiago is brought in.

SCHOOP !!!!

I guess that will serve as insurance.

Glunn’s a nice guy, I’m sure, but how’s about you give him the rest of the year off.

[Monkeypaws]

30 games over .500 anyone?

Who,s   Buxton  ??

[nmcowboy]

Who,s   Buxton  ??

That's his alias.  His real name is Mr. Glass.

Oh ya i remember that guy now ,  t.y.

Haven't been able to check in much lately, but got the chance today-

I gotta say, I really like the Sox TV crew these days. Jason Benetti has got such a wry and quick sense of humor- the guy could spend time at Second City. And I think he's breathed new life into Steve Stone, drawing him into bits, a lightening up even the darkest Sox moments- especially in contrast to the Hawkster, who used to go even darker at those times.

Plus, he doesn't use those same worn-out, infuriating cliches.....

Don't stop now™, Jason!

[glunn]

Looks like I missed a good game for the Twins.

[PDX Twin]

Odorizzi is from Ellinois? Where's Ellinois?

You know: Biggest city is Checago. Capital is Sprengfield.

Whenever the Twins are ahead my focus will be on insurance runs. I would like one now, up 8 to 2 in the 9th.

[Don Walcott]

Winnah!!

[mrtwinsfan]

Broom game tomm,  nice job

[Blake]

Yes, I think Carole and I have been the Benetti Fan Club. Perhaps his best line of the night was when he said Stone has a Mark Buehrle (fast ball) heart rate: It tops out at 56.

And you are exactly right on Stone. Benetti is excellent at bringing out the best in his partner.

[David HK]

Good work, boys! Chicken time!

And speaking of boys, how old is Stashak, anyway, 17? He's still got zits and sparse, scraggly chin whiskers... Take it easy on the Hershey bars, now, Cody!

[operation mindcrime]

Way to go Twins!!!!! 3 Bombas and Odorizzi, May & Sleestak doing good!
