Game Thread: Twins @ White Sox, 8/28, 7:10 PM CT

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

The Indians need to scoreboard watch, the Twins do not, they just need to take care of business

Its gotta be demoralizing to be rooting for the Cleveland Indians. The Twins never lose. (Never seem to lose when Cleveland wins, anyway.)

[wabene]

Cron is freaking due

[LVTwinsfan]

It’s Joe Mauer

I recommending giving this anti-jinx tune a listen, anytime you feel like saying something like that.

Sac fly would be good

[MVP Nick Punto]

Sac fly would be good

2-out sac fly is the most underappreciated play in baseball.

Sano’s RBI fielder’s choice could loom large tonight!

[LVTwinsfan]

[LVTwinsfan]

Garver can hit

Odorizzi is from Ellinois? Where's Ellinois?

[LVTwinsfan]

Quality starts these days are less common than complete games we’re in the sixties

[LVTwinsfan]

Odorizzi is from Ellinois? Where's Ellinois?

in the Netherlands

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Odorizzi is from Ellinois? Where's Ellinois?

Why, that’s the electronic version of Illinois, of course

[Don Walcott]

Good job, Jake!

[Don Walcott]

Time for insurance runs.

[FLTwinsGuy]

Now Sano is out....joy....

[ashbury]

That pitch almost hit Arraez - and he punched it for a base knock!

[ashbury]

"Close The Door" would seem to be the main takeaway of this powerpoint presentation.

[wabene]

Lurch!!!

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

TREVOR HEAT

[obtusebanter]

May sure was filthy in that 7th!

[Blake]

Yep, just what I expected to happen this year: Late in the game, May comes in, shows opposing hitters who's in charge.

[ashbury]

Glunn not being present, I guess I'll be the one to ask for a few insurance runs here.

[ashbury]

SCHOOP !!!!

I guess that will serve as insurance.

[Don Walcott]

Schoop!!

In noting that teams tried to trade for Luis, but failed, Benetti said, “It’s hard to get Arraez out of the Twins.”

[FLTwinsGuy]

Ok Johnathan, this is a perfect time to start getting hot!! Atta boy
